Lakers @ Pistons Live Game Thread

The LA Lakers (4-13) visit the Detroit Pistons (3-14) tonight at The Palace of Auburn Hills. Tip off is set for 4:30 pm PST.

Rick Osentoski-USA TODAY Sports

Tonight, the LA Lakers will take on the Detroit Pistons in the first part of their 3 game road trip. The Lakers will take on a team that many thought would have no problem making the playoffs in the East. However, the Pistons are still trying to figure things out under new coach and GM Stan Van Gundy, and only have 3 wins on the season. The Lakers will be without Ryan Kelly (torn hamstring), while Xavier Henry, Steve Nash & Julius Randle have all been ruled out for the season. For a more in depth summary of tonight's match up, check out the game preview: Lakers & Pistons Preview. Here are tonight's projected starters:

Los Angeles Lakers Detroit Pistons
Jeremy Lin

Brandon Jennings
Kobe Bryant
Kentavious Caldwell-Pope
SF Wesley Johnson
Kyle Singler

PF Carlos Boozer Josh Smith
Jordan Hill

Andre Drummond

Your drinking triggers for tonight include anyone mentioning:

  • The Lakers being undefeated against the East.

  • Greg Monroe moving to the bench.

  • Kobe's triple-double on Sunday.

  • Jodie Meeks.

  • Kobe playing mad.
