Los Angeles Lakers superstar shooting guard Kobe Bryant has passed Michael Jordan on the NBA's all-time scoring list, reaching the 32,293-points mark against the Minnesota Timberwolves. Here's Kobe making NBA history with a pair of free throws:
Bryant has been closing on on Jordan all season, bouncing between the top-five in scoring per game as he makes his full return campaign from back-to-back injuries. Passing Jordan in scoring is a huge feat for anyone, and Kobe is now the all-time leading scoring shooting guard. He now trails only Karl Malone (36,928) and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (38.387) on the all-time scoring list.
It's been an amazing 19-year journey for Kobe Bryant to reach this point, with more still to come. From a historical 81-point game, five championship titles, and countless amazing moments he's cemented himself among the greats. Where he falls in that ranking will forever be debated, but when it comes to scoring, he's now third all-time. Congratulations to Kobe on reaching yet another milestone in his magnificent career.
