Tonight, the LA Lakers will play the Charlotte Hornets, the team formerly known as the Bobcats. In what has been one of the toughest opening schedules in the NBA, the Lakers stumble into what is probably their first winnable game. And with 4 days off for rest and practice, if they dont win this one, they may go until mid november until they see a non-playoff team. The Lakers will be without Nick Young (thumb surgery), while Steve Nash & Julius Randle have both been ruled out for the season. For a more in depth summary of tonight's match up, check out the game preview: Lakers vs Hornets Preview. Here are tonight's projected starters:
Los Angeles Lakers | Charlotte Hornets | |
PG | Jeremy Lin | Kemba Walker |
SG | Kobe Bryant | Gary Neal |
SF | Wesley Johnson | Lance Stephenson |
PF | Carlos Boozer | Marvin Williams |
C | Jordan Hill | Al Jefferson |
