No1 wants their season/career 2 end in injury but is it ever a good time 4 it 2 end? All you can do is give it all you have when you have it— DWade (@DwyaneWade) October 24, 2014

Nash has not made a decision on whether he'll be retiring because of his condition continuing to get worse, but is in the final year of his contract with the Lakers. It's hard to imagine the 40-year-old point guard will be able to bounce back after the latest setback, but he's tried to work through a wave of injuries that began when Damian Lillard knocked knees with him and broke his leg.
Expect many more quotes from Lakers personnel when media gets its first opportunity to ask about Nash's injury Friday night during their final preseason game.
