UPDATE | 2:30 p.m. ET | Janis Carr has since called her tweet regarding Dwight Howard's decision "premature" without providing further clarification.

A report that Dwight Howard has made his decision has been called "premature", by Janis Carr of the Orange County Register.

There is no indication as to what Howard's decision will be, or specifically when it will come.

The Warriors have been making the most noise going into the weekend. They are prepared to offer the Lakers a sign-and-trade package, but have also begun looking for teams to dump three expiring contracts to so they can sign Howard outright. Meanwhile, the Lakers would reportedly be "appeased" if they can acquire both Harrison Barnes and Klay Thompson in a sign-and-trade.

Reports have pinned Friday as the day for Howard to make his announcement, but there have been no direct guarantees from the superstar big man. Since his last meeting on Tuesday he has been in Aspen, Colorado discussing his future with his "camp."
