Dwight Howard's unrestricted free agency officially begins at 9:00 p.m. PT Sunday night, and the superstar big man already has his first meeting lined up. Howard will meet with the Houston Rockets immediately in Los Angeles Sunday night to begin his free agency campaign, and the franchise is currently the frontrunner to land him, reports Adrian Wojnarwoski of Yahoo! Sports.

Joining the Rockets effort to land Howard will be Hakeem "The Dream" Olajuwon, according to Marc Stein of ESPN.

Howard will also meet with the Dallas Mavericks and Golden State Warriors. He is expected to meet with the Los Angeles Lakers last at the request of the franchise.

After a Summer filled with reports that Howard's interest was highest with Houston, the he-said she-said will become substantial reports as teams can officially meet with players beginning July 1. Earlier in the week it was reported that Howard does not want to drag out the process and will have his decision as soon as possible so he can sign his contract on the first available day (July 10).

Howard's final meetings are scheduled to take place on Tuesday and he could have his decision made by the end of the week, and his decision will be "based on basketball more than anything else", according to Wojnarowski.

The final stages of the "Dwightmare" begins tonight for Los Angeles, in Los Angeles.
