The Los Angeles Lakers' NBA playoff schedule was finalized Wednesday night as they defeated the Houston Rockets and locked in a first round match up against the San Antonio Spurs. While the opponent is locked up, questions still remain as the return of Steve Nash remains in the air.
In the Lakers favor, though, is that their first game against the Spurs is on Sunday, giving Nash an extra day to get ready for a potential playoff return. Of course, that also gives San Antonio an extra day to prepare for the Lakers. The teams last played on April 14, with the Lakers pulling out a victory in their first full game since Kobe Bryant's Achilles tear.
The Spurs will carry home court advantage through the series, but games three, four, and six will be played in Los Angeles. The Lakers are 29-12 at home and have gone 13-1 in Staples Center since the All-Star break.
