Steve Nash continues to have hamstring issues and Mike D'Antoni called Nash's status when the Los Angeles Lakers face the Dallas Mavericks "doubtful. probably" during Monday's practice reports Kevin Ding of The O.C. Register. Nash initially missed the second half of their game in Milwaukee, but was back in the starting lineup when the Lakers visited the Sacramento Kings.

The Lakers remain in out of the playoff picture with the Utah Jazz having a tied record, but the tiebreaker in the season series that gives them the eighth seed currently. Without Nash, Steve Blake saw an increase in minutes and Chris Duhon played four minutes.
The Lakers have both Wednesday and Thursday off before the Memphis Grizzlies visit, which would give Nash a total of a six-day window without playing basketball after having to leave the game on Saturday.
The Mavericks remain in the playoff hunt in the final weeks, currently 1.5 games behind both the Lakers and Jazz, making the game at Staples Center on Tuesday a critical game for both teams.
