Dwight Howard will play tonight against the Charlotte Bobcats after stating he would wait and see how his shoulder felt after last night's game against the Boston Celtics. It was reported that Howard had no setbacks in his first game back after re-aggravating his shoulder in Phoenix.

Hopefully Howard can continue lacing them up on a nightly basis for the Lakers, but with a temperamental such as a torn labrum, it will be difficult to completely rely on having Howard every game going forward. With Pau Gasol out for the foreseeable future (a minimum of 6-8 weeks after team doctors in Los Angeles examined him and confirmed the torn plantar fascia diagnosis), Mitch Kupchak and Mike D'Antoni will meet on Sunday to discuss the Lakers' personnel going forward. Without a reliably healthy Howard, and without the safety net that Gasol has always been for the Lakers, it's only sensible to discuss the strategy going forward.
Dwight Howard is in tonight. Hopefully more so than he was last night in Boston.
