The news keeps on rolling for the Los Angeles with Metta World Peace being suspended for "striking" Brandon Knight in the face, Dwight Howard will sit out as he continues to nurse his shoulder injury, and Pau Gasol spoke about the possibility of requesting a fresh start elsewhere if things don't change by next season. Here's another dent in the Lakers season, as Kobe Bryant has sprained his right elbow per Mike Trudell.

Bryant was receiving treatment on the elbow after shootaround, for the inflammation. Think he hurt it dunking on Brandon Knight at DET.
— Mike Trudell (@LakersReporter) February 5, 2013

If he did in fact hurt it while dunking on Knight, here's the play that caused it.

Notice at the end as he walks back he favors his elbow. Kobe Bryant will play through the injury and is expected to play tonight, but it's worth keeping an eye on as it's his shooting elbow.
*** UPDATE ***
Mark Medina reports that it isn't just a sprain, but that Kobe Bryant has been dealing with tendinitis in his right elbow.
Although it’s not going sideline him for any games, Kobe Bryant revealed he has been nursing elbow tendinitis in his right arm.
“It’s a little sore,” said Bryant, who sat on a bench at the New York Athletic Club wearing a medicine patch on his right arm to get the inflammation out. “But it’s all right though.” - Mark Medina, L.A. Daily News
