Dwight Howard re-aggravated his right shoulder in Wednesday night's loss to the Phoenix Suns. Time and time again Dwight has been quoted that his intention is to play through it and avoid surgery, however, he will miss tonight's game against the Minnesota Timberwolves according to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports.

Tonight's game is the second of a seven game road trip, and losing Howard for the contest doesn't bode well for the Los Angeles Lakers, who need to immediately bounce back after the disappointing loss. Now, the Lakers must play without their center once again, and the strategy of simply "playing through it" has shown why it's incredibly dangerous. With the way that players hack at Dwight's arms as soon as the ball reaches his hands, this doesn't appear to be something that's going to go away.
No Dwight tonight, folks.
