After missing three games over the past ten days, Pau Gasol will be active and starting for the Los Angeles Lakers when they play the Milwaukee Bucks tomorrow night at STAPLES Center.
The Lakers are in the midst of a five game losing streak, including three without the Spaniard. The team perhaps reached the low point of the season yesterday, falling to a Philadelphia 76ers squad who had won just one road game all year. In Gasol's stead, Jordan Hill, Robert Sacre, Chris Kaman and Ryan Kelly have filled his minutes admirably, but it's been noticeable just how much the team is missing Pau's steady post presence as well as playmaking from down low. For the season, he is averaging 14.7 ppg, 9.4 rpg and 3.1 apg in 28 contests.
If this team has any hope of breaking their losing streak going into a very tough January, it has to start with Pau's return against the worst team in the entire NBA.
