Nick Young suffered a sprained left ring finger during the Los Angeles Lakers 99-94 victory over the Brooklyn Nets Wednesday. The injury occurred during the fourth quarter when Young drove in for a layup against Paul Pierce. Young immediately underwent x-rays after the game and was officially diagnosed with a sprained proximal inter phalangeal joint, per Lakers reporter Mike Trudell.
Young will try to play through the injury, but will be required to wear a splint on his hand:
Young will have to see if he can play with the splint on his hand. "I’m going to try my best to play through it," he said.

Young has been playing well off the bench for the Lakers and is the team's second-leading scorer with 14.1 points per game. He scored a season-high (and game-high) 26 points against the Nets, shooting 50 percent from the field and making four of his six three-point attempts.
