The Los Angeles Lakers starting lineup has been anything but consistent to start the season and will undergo another change. Jordan Hill will start Tuesday night against the New Orleans Pelicans, taking starting power forward duties from Chris Kaman, reports Dave McMenamin of ESPN.
Hill will notch his first start of the season, likely as a move to match up with Anthony Davis in the frontcourt. Davis put up a career-high 32 points against the Lakers when they played on Friday, dominating the team on both ends of the floor and in transition.
The Lakers will also start Jodie Meeks at shooting guard, shifting Steve Blake down to starting point guard in the absence of Steve Nash.
Hill is currently averaging 6.3 points and 6.6 rebounds in 16.1 minutes per game and has been the most active big man on the Lakers' roster. Mike D'Antoni continues to tinker with his rotations, which is to be expected early in the season.
