Steve Blake has been out of the Lakers lineup since November 11th after undergoing surgery on a torn abdominal muscle. Since then, Blake's had a handful of setbacks, but has finally practiced with the team on Saturday. ESPN LA's Dave McMenamin reports that there's "a shot" that Steve Blake will play in Tuesday's game against the New Orleans Hornets.

The Lakers have tried out both Chris Duhon and Darius Morris as backup point guards, but neither has found a great measure of success. Mike D'Antoni gushed over Steve Blake being a part of the Lakers roster in his introductory press conference, and the Lakers have stood pat in finding a backup point guard while Blake recovered. Updates on when Steve Blake will make his return as they come in.
