Pau Gasol has been out of action since being elbowed by Javale "Did I Do That" McGee Sunday. Reports were that the big man would be re-evaluated after the Lakers two game road trip, and now per Mike Trudell Gasol will also miss this evening's prime time game.

Starting in his place? Earl Clark (who will be matched up with Kevin Durant)!

It's an experiment, no doubt, but one worth tinkering with at this point in the season. Why is Mike D'Antoni going with Earl Clark?

So, there you have it. No Pau Gasol, but more Earl Clark.
