The Lakers' summer-league squad had not much time to lick their wounds after getting drilled by the Warriors yesterday. They're back on the court at 5:00 Cali time today against the Kings. Here's the boxscore from the Dubs game if you missed it. You'll notice some interesting stats in there - for instance, literally no Laker shot better than 50% from the field, and Chinemelu Elonu and Ater Majok combined to commit 15 fouls. (You're allowed 10 before fouling out in summer-league games.) That's how you lose by 40.

The Kings didn't fare much better yesterday, getting demolished by the Bobcats by a score of 121 to 87. The guy to keep an eye on is Thomas Robinson, the rookie out of Kansas and fifth overall pick in this year's draft. He scored 19 points but committed 8 turnovers against the Cats. You'll also see a lot of Jimmer Fredette and Hassan Whiteside. Fans of SoCal college hoops will recognize Josh Akognon and Lazeric Jones, point guards out of Cal State Fullerton and UCLA, respectively.

The telecast is on NBA TV, and I think if you go here you can pay $5 to stream all summer-league action.
