It feels like every time we start to believe in this Lakers team, they derp out on us. Remember when they handled Miami on a Sunday afternoon about a month ago? What immediately followed were patience-testing losses to the Pistons and Wizards. Wednesday's victory over the Clippers might've been the most fun and invigorating of the season. Now it's up to the Lake Show to maintain the edge they brought to that game. The next three (tonight against the Rockets, tomorrow in Phoenix and Monday night in New Orleans) are all very winnable. Run that mini-table and you've got the three seed in the West pretty much in the bag.
Enjoy (?) another gulp of the Manischewitz whenever someone mentions:
- Pau Gasol getting dunked on by Blake Griffin,
- Chandler Parsons's defense on Kobe Bryant,
- The Masters,
- Kevin McHale Celtics clothesline blah blah, or
- The "home stretch."
