Urge to Kill: RISING

The Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Miami Heat, 93-83, in a physical game that saw Wade fouling out and 3 technicals called, one for Miami and two for Los Angeles. Pau Gasol and LeBron James exchanged pleasantries late in the 3rd Quarter, the same 3rd quarter that Metta World Peace put up 6 of his 17 points. World Peace added a season-high four steals to an impressive game that was very much a Ron Artest throwback game. Asked about his improved play, World Peace had this to say:

I been feeling good for a while no but I started out so bad that when I started to feel good, I didn’t want to jump in 13 games ago and just start to attack and shoot. It wouldn’t have looked right. I just let it happen.

The Masked Mamba continued his brilliant play and scorched the Heat for 33 points on 14-23 shooting. Efficiency at it's finest. Andrew Bynum played a fantastic game, grabbing rebounds and staying active on Defense. Mike Brown had this to say bout the Big Fella:

You talk about Andrew Bynum's defense activity, his defensive activity was very good tonight in terms of patrolling the paint.

Elsewhere Around the League, Deron Williams dropped 57 on the Bobcats, Rose and the Bulls took down the Sixers, and Rajon Rondo's ridiculous stat line derails the Knicks.
