Derek Fisher is back, which means there are certain things you're guaranteed to see (assuming TNT gets us to Staples in time to see them). There will be a highlight video welcoming Derek back to Los Angeles. There will be a loud and emotional standing O for the guy. There will be a heartfelt pregame hug between Fish and Kobe Bryant. And if this game is close in the final minutes, I ASSURE you'll hear the announcers and see a thousand people on Twitter ask, "What if Fish hits a last-second game winner over his former team???" If that happens, so be it, but in any case: Welcome home, Derek Fisher.
There's nothing wrong with trying to expand your drinking game whenever someone mentions:
- Andrew Bynum's three-point attempt,
- "Possible conference finals preview,"
- How nice and/or humble Kevin Durant is,
- Magic Johnson's purchase of the Dodgers, or
- Controlling the tempo.
Zou bisou bisou.
