Lakers-Thunder Open Thread

Presswire

Derek Fisher is back, which means there are certain things you're guaranteed to see (assuming TNT gets us to Staples in time to see them). There will be a highlight video welcoming Derek back to Los Angeles. There will be a loud and emotional standing O for the guy. There will be a heartfelt pregame hug between Fish and Kobe Bryant. And if this game is close in the final minutes, I ASSURE you'll hear the announcers and see a thousand people on Twitter ask, "What if Fish hits a last-second game winner over his former team???" If that happens, so be it, but in any case: Welcome home, Derek Fisher.

There's nothing wrong with trying to expand your drinking game whenever someone mentions:

  • Andrew Bynum's three-point attempt,
  • "Possible conference finals preview,"
  • How nice and/or humble Kevin Durant is,
  • Magic Johnson's purchase of the Dodgers, or
  • Controlling the tempo.

Zou bisou bisou.
