Live from Staples Center, it's another not very good team! Actually, Wednesday's opponent was technically much better than the Sacramento Kings, but taking Kevin Love away from the T-wolves probably makes this a comparable contest. The Lakers won that game without breaking a sweat, which was convenient because sweat would have made Kobe Bryant's bizarre take on the Rip Hamilton face mask mighty uncomfortable.
The Kings are the second straight opponent facing the Lakers on a back end of a Staples Center back-to-back (the front end being a date with the cross hall Clippers. The Wolves beat the Clippers but lost badly to our home team. The Kings lost to the Clippers so let's hope the reversal of fortune ends there.
