Starring: For the first time in years, we have speed at the point guard position in Ramon Sessions. However, since he just went through his first practice and is unfamiliar with the players, Steve Blake will start for now:
"I don't want to guarantee anything or put anything in stone because I don't know if it's healthy to do that all the time," Lakers coach Mike Brown said following the team's film session and light voluntary practice on Saturday. "It's definitely Steve's job for the foreseeable future and it might be his job for the rest of the year. I don't know."
The Lakers take on the Jazz tonight at home, and with the playoffs looming closer, Mike Brown will look to manage the Black Mamba's minutes to keep him fresh for the postseason.
