It's been a while since the Lakers have managed to string together a couple wins. Tonight they have an excellent chance to do just that. The Orlando Magic, as you might have heard, traded their franchise player to the Lakers in the offseason, and predictably enough they've been struggling in the post-Chris Duhon era. They're 5-10 thanks to one of the worst offenses in the league. Over the past four weeks the only teams they've beaten are the Pistons and Cavaliers. If the Lakers can't win this one easily, we have a right to be disgruntled. DISGRUNTLED, I SAY.
There's not much to say about Orlando's roster except that it's just not very good. Arron Afflalo and Glen Davis are OK players but if they're leading your team in minutes and usage... man, listen. At least we get to see our old friend Josh McRoberts, whose glorious run in the purple and gold came to an end when he was shipped to Orlando in the Duhon trade.
