Jordan Hill out Sunday night against Philadelphia 76ers, would like to play Tuesday

Jordan Hill will not play Sunday against the 76ers, suffering from back spasms.

Just over an hour until tip off in Philadelphia where the Lakers take on the 76ers and Jordan Hill, who missed Friday's contest against the Wizards, has been announced as out of the lineup per Lakers.com reporter Mike Trudell

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p>Jordan Hill (back spasms) is out tonight. He said he is feeling better &amp; would like to play on Tuesday, but we'll see how he feels then.</p>&mdash; Mike Trudell (@LakersReporter) <a href="https://twitter.com/LakersReporter/status/280427334174138368" data-datetime="2012-12-16T21:41:01+00:00">December 16, 2012</a></blockquote>

Hill had a herniated disk in his back before the season began and missed the majority of preseason due to the injury. With Pau Gasol still resting his knees expect Devin Ebanks to continue to play as the starting power forward, along with a mix of minutes from Metta World Peace shifting up and Antawn Jamison off the bench. This also means that Robert Sacre will continue to see playing time as the front court depth has diminished to playing the 60th pick in the 2012 NBA draft.
