"Sources" have confirmed to me that Mike Brown has, in fact, been fired by the Los Angeles Lakers. It's generating story after story, and rumor after rumor, and will continue to do so until the Lakers have settled in on a new coach. Phil Jackson? Mike D' Antoni? Jerry Sloan? Stan "The Van" Gundy? Who knows. Coach Nick from BBallbreakdown.com invited me onto his YouTube channel to talk about Mike Brown's departure, the numbers behind the offense and defense, and a quick take on the coaching options out there. *Cough Cough* Phil Jackson *Cough Cough*

Who do you think the best fit is for coach? Phil Jackson making the triangle work with the new personnel? Steve Nash and Captain Pringles reuniting?
Many thanks again to Coach Nick! Catch all of his work at BBallbreakdown.com and join the conversation with him on Twitter over at @BBallsource. Also, subscribe to his YouTube channel to keep up with his analysis across the entire NBA landscape.
