The Lakers run through the preseason has come to an end. Despite their valiant efforts, the quest to hoist the illustrious Preseason Championship trophy into the air went up in flames. 0 for 8 it is. After the final preseason loss against the Kings for the umpteenth time in the last two weeks, LakersNation.com was there to capture Dwight Howard's thoughts on the "process" the Lakers are going through

"If we remember that at the end of the day it’s a process, and at the end of the process it’s a championship, and this is a journey."
Count 'em up, Dwight referred to the "process" 14 times in total. Process that. Serena Winters of Lakers Nation also caught up with Mike Brown and asked him a few questions in regards to the goals the Lakers may have achieved, as opposed to just the win-loss aspect of what the preseason has amounted for his team.

"From where we're sitting right now, there is a comfort level, because the ceiling for us is really high. I know we got a lot of room to get better - and we can get better."
Yeah, Coach Brown, I certainly hope your squad can get better (obviously they will and can). Of interest, note that he has the same concerns the majority of us do in regards to the second unit. There are still more questions than answers regarding them, and eight preseason games didn't produce the results any of us wanted to see with what should have been a vastly improved bench going into the season.
Be sure to subscribe to their YouTube channel, which provides a TON of great media and access to our favorite team.
