Lakers Vs Kings

The Age of Superman gets underway.

Jayne Kamin-Oncea-US PRESSWIRE

It's finally happening, folks. Dwight Howard will make his debut tonight. With more than a week to go before the start of the regular season, Dwight's ready to go, and according to Mike Brown he'll play without restrictions on his minutes.

The site is Staples Center, and the opponent again is the Sacramento Kings. When these teams played on Friday night DeMarcus Cousins took some cheap shots at Pau Gasol. I suspect he'll be on better behavior with Dwight on hand to regulate.

Angst has been growing among Laker fans over the team's sorrowful performance in the preseason so far. In my view it's still way too early to worry about anything, but I get why an 0-5 record isn't what people want to see. Here's to a nice W tonight just to calm everyone down a bit. There are five preseason games left, including tonight's.

At what point in the game will Dwight get his first dunk? Leave your guess in the commens. Mine is the 8:10 mark of the first quarter.
