Sorry to kick off this thread by laying down the law, but given events happening elsewhere tonight I just want to remind everyone...

NO POLITICS IN THE GAME THREAD.

We're all here to enjoy hoops and forget about the other nonsense, so please keep the chatter game-related up in here. Thanks!

Tonight the Lakers down at the Honda Center in Anaheim to face the Utah Jazz. The Jazz have the look of a rising team and borderline playoff contender in the Western Conference this year. In Derrick Favors, Paul Millsap and Al Jefferson they have a trio of talented bigs, and Gordon Hayward appears to be developing into a starter-quality wing. In the offseason they picked up Marvin and Mo Williams. This is the second time the Lakers have seen the Jazz in the preseason, having lost to them on Saturday night at Staples. Enes Kanter, yet another useful big man, had 14 and 14 in Utah's 99 to 86 win.

Have fun, everyone, and GO LAKERS.
