Umm... let's just go straight to the block quote on this one.
An arrest warrant has been issued for former Georgia Tech star basketball player Javaris Crittenton in connection with the shooting death of 22-year-old Jullian Jones, Atlanta police said. . . .
The shooting happened shortly before 10 p.m. Aug. 19 in the 2900 block of Macon Drive in southwest Atlanta.
Investigators said Jones was walking with others when she was shot. She later died. . . .
Police said they don't believe Jones was the intended victim.
Police said the motive appears to be retaliation for a robbery that occurred in April in which Crittenton was a victim.
Crittenton, you might recall, was picked by the Lakers in the first round of the 2007 draft. He played 22 games for L.A. in the 2007-08 season before getting sent to Memphis as part of the Pau Gasol deal.
