The NBA has announced that Andrew Bynum will be suspended for the first five games of the 2011-12 season because of his gratuitously violent hit on Jose Barea at the end of Sunday's Game Four. He's also been fined $25,000 for leaving the court shirtlessly.

Thankfully, the Lakers have plenty of experience beginning a season without Andrew Bynum.
