And the legend grows.
Kobe Bryant once again bailed out the Lakers from their own malaise by hitting another buzzer beating shot to win the game. If you're counting at home, that's 3 buzzer beaters already this season, out of three chances.
For Kobe, though, it's no longer enough to just make the shot that wins the game. He did that once this season, in spectacular fashion, against the Miami Heat. Then, he upped the ante by hitting the game winner against Milwaukee with a broken finger. He's still got that broken finger for tonight's game winner, but he picked up a new trick along the way. Watch the clip again.
That's right, ladies and gentlement, Kobe Bryant set his own screen for the game winner.
Next time, he will inbound the ball to himself, while setting himself a screen, and then hit himself on the dive for a dunk to win the game.
As it turns out, a whole game was played, not just one incredible sequence. To be honest, you are best off forgetting about the rest of it. It was frustrating and annoying. Not one of the team's best efforts, but then we haven't seen one of their best efforts in some time.In any case, Dex will have all of that covered for you tomorrow, so for now, just bask in the glory of Kobe.
