I don't particularly want to compare this to the late John Wooden's hallowed 'Pyramid of Success', as it does not apply to life in general as well as Wooden's pyramid, nor has it been specifically written by Phil, but these 11 points from Forum Blue and Gold's Jeff perfectly summarise Phil Jackson's method of success. Quite frankly, the Lakers need Phil back. Here's to hoping something changes his mind between now and next week.

Pau Gasol: "That's funny." Phil's been making an abnormal number of excuses for his players this season. What I can't figure is whether this is another case of making an excuse, or a subtle dig at Pau. Pau's reaction doesn't aid in clarifying to either train of thought.
