Lopez Breaks his Foot - A. Smith says Pau and Bynum on the Table
Brook Lopez broke his foot last night, seeming to put any Net trade of him in danger. Stephen A. Smith said on ESPN radio that the Lakers have both Pau and Bynum are on the table (but sounded flippant about it).
Lakers didn't lose this series because of the referees.
They lost this series because they're choke artists. Kobe hasn't been at all clutch this year, he's been a detriment in the final minutes. Gasol simply disappeared this playoff season, and the Lakers as a team under-utilized the best player on their team of this series in Andrew Bynum.

Still more proof that Blazer Fans are more fanatical than Laker Fans.
HOLY SHIT! Tonight's game-day open thread for the PRE-SEASON GAME (!!!) against the SACRAMENTO KINGS (!!!!!!!) drew over TWO THOUSAND POSTS (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!). ========== Oh yeah, it was RADIO ONLY (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) with NO TELEVISION! (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) and it was a HOME GAME (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!). ============= And get this: NONE OF THE POSTS WERE BY CHATTY PATTY MEEEEEEE (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!).
The guy the Lakers actually kept...
The number 59 pick seems to have stayed with LA... Chinemelu "Junior" Elonu (6'10" PF/C, Nigeria/Texas A&M, age 22) He didn't even have a Draft Express profile. The only YouTube link was a short clip of a tame dunk videotaped from a small, flickering TV screen. Oh, and a clip of him being introduced at a football game. The "take" I delievered at the time of his workout for the Blazers was this: "A 'poke' is an old slang name for a bag, so if you buy 'a pig in a poke,' you don't get a look at him..." Wasted draft pick, methinks.
