Tonight's game-day open thread for the PRE-SEASON GAME (!!!) against the SACRAMENTO KINGS (!!!!!!!) drew over TWO THOUSAND POSTS (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!). ========== Oh yeah, it was RADIO ONLY (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) with NO TELEVISION! (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) and it was a HOME GAME (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!). ============= And get this: NONE OF THE POSTS WERE BY CHATTY PATTY MEEEEEEE (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!).

The number 59 pick seems to have stayed with LA... Chinemelu "Junior" Elonu (6'10" PF/C, Nigeria/Texas A&M, age 22) He didn't even have a Draft Express profile. The only YouTube link was a short clip of a tame dunk videotaped from a small, flickering TV screen. Oh, and a clip of him being introduced at a football game. The "take" I delievered at the time of his workout for the Blazers was this: "A 'poke' is an old slang name for a bag, so if you buy 'a pig in a poke,' you don't get a look at him..." Wasted draft pick, methinks.
