Are the Lakers giving up on D'Angelo Russell?

If you really haven't heard by now, infamous sports talk show host Colin Cowherd reported that the Lakers are "not sold" on D'Angelo Russell and that they are willing to trade him if it is for the right pieces. This is after a report from a more credible reporter that the Lakers are refusing to add ANY of the young core in trade talks. This includes Russell, Randle, Clarkson, Nance, Ingram, Zubac, and (I think) Black.

Despite multiple subpar games from Russell, he is secretly having an historic season when you look at his Per 36 numbers. He is currently averaging 20.2 points, 5.3 rebounds and 6.0 assist with a PER of 16.9 pee 36. With those stats, he is the second youngest player in NBA History to average 20, 5 and 5 Per 36. The player above him is Kyrie Irving and the player just below him is LeBron James.
