Los Angeles Lakers forward Julius Randle “suffered a laceration to his right hand (webbing between middle and ring fingers)” during a practice on Monday, the team announced in a press release. The team says Randle’s injury required seven stitches and that he will be “will be re-evaluated in approximately 14 days.”
The good news for the team is Randle doesn’t use his right hand to play basketball anyway that while Randle’s injury sounds painful, it will likely not cause any long or short term issues.. Additionally positive is because it’s an injury to his hand, Randle will still be able to work on his conditioning and other aspects of his overall fitness as he prepares for the upcoming NBA season.
