The Nick Young experience has been a revelation for the 2016-2017 Los Angeles Lakers. The Uncle P resurrection has a new chapter after he drained a game-winner that put away the Oklahoma City Thunder, and it’s arguably the best one yet.
Nick Young didn’t just hit a game-winner. No. He:
- Stole a pass intended for his own teammate, Lou Williams
- Probably got away with a travel but the referees were likely as much in awe as we were that he was like “nah” on that pass going to Lou
- Then did D’Angelo Russell’s “ice in my veins” celebration
This is the peak, please enjoy your time here:

And yes, for those wondering, D’Angelo may have enjoyed the whole sequence more than any of us:

A moment like this needs to be properly analyzed compared to other great Lakers’ game-winning moments, and luckily Uncle P had us covered there, too:
LA native Nick Young recalls Kobe, Horry & Fisher hitting game-winners: "Mine's kind of unique because I stole it from my teammate."
