2016 Free Agent Possibilities - Your thoughts?

So in-between being depressed about the Lakers season and being depressed about the 49ers season (Kind of funny that each of my favorite teams currently sport the worst coaching staffs in their respective leagues huh?), I stumbled across a list of this year's upcoming free agents and decided I'd try to pick out a few realistic options for our Los Angeles Lakers. I'll be honest in admitting that I don't watch much basketball aside from the Lakers and occasionally the Warriors (I'm from the Bay Area), so I had trouble picking players aside from the big names that could be good fits as I don't see them play more than a handful of times each year.

These are the three names that stuck out most to me:

  1. DeMar DeRozan (Unrestricted FA) - Very good young player that could fit well with Russell. Will get you at least 20pts a game while playing top notch defense. I'd be all for this signing. There's a rumor that the Raptors may be looking to trade him before losing him this summer.
  2. Al Horford (Unrestricted FA) - Solid all around basketball player but somewhat undersized at 6'10 especially if he's starting along with Randle.
  3. Hassan Whiteside (Unrestricted FA) - Dunks and blocks, then does it again. We have a chance to make up for a past mistake along with acquiring a 26 year-old stud averaging 13pts/11reb along with 4 blocks a game. We are basically acquiring Dwight Howard without the whining/insecurities/softness.
So, what do you guys think?
