Potentially getting lost in the shuffle with all of the attention being paid to D'Angelo Russell's bone bruise is the training camp of the Los Angeles Lakers' other lottery pick, Julius Randle. The technically second year forward has had a quiet training camp, but as we can see from the video posted by Mike Trudell of Lakers.com, Randle looks to be continuing to work on adding an outside shot to his game:

If Randle can add the threat of the outside shot to his game to pair with an already devastating first step it could make him an even more interesting prospect. His jumper was something that Randle clearly went into Las Vegas Summer League determined to put an emphasis on, and how many of these types of jumpers he is taking and making will be just one more thing to keep an eye on when the Lakers begin their preseason vs. the Utah Jazz on Sunday in Hawaii.
