Now to state their needs.
76ers: Want to move back into the top 8 to get a top PF, preferably in my opinion Noah Vonleh as he is a perfect support player for their system to pair up with their #3 pick "cough" "cough " "Wiggins". They have a fair amount of assets to do it.
Lakers: Basically need a good amount of everything, but the main issue will probably be overall more picks for more players, frontcourt players since all of the LA Land's front line are free agents, and athleticism.
Thaddeus Young, 10th pick, 39th and 52nd picks to the Lakers for Nash and the 7th.
This gives the lakers a skilled and athletic two way player who can play both forward positions, the 39th and 52nd to get some much need youth and depth from the 2nd round, and the 10th pick. The 10th pick could be used to choose a skilled shooter and scorer in Stauskas or Mcbuckets, some athleticism in Young or Lavine, or if Randle is not chosen by the 5th pick could easily drop to the 10th with his recent foot surgery and no one needing a bruising power forward past the 5th pick.
The 76ers get their raw PF of the future to mold into the perfect two way stretch 4 support player who can control the boards and block shots with Noel.
As a personal note. I am a rockets fan first and I have done some looking around the blog. Some of you want asik, but the rockets aren't going to dump asik with a pick. He is a top 5 defensive and rebounding center that averages over a double-double in 30 minutes. The rockets are probably going to trade asik for a future 1st like what many celtic fans want or use him in a S&T. The rockets are going to use their 25th pick to dump lin with which the lakers could have if they want to eat lin's contract.
