Man, Byron Scott is a bad coach

Byron Scott probably being a douche

The Los Angeles Lakers(Or shall I say Magic Johnson)decided to hire BYRON SCOTT as head coach for the 2014-2015 season. I honestly have no idea why they would do this. Byron is clearly the worst possible option for coach in this situation. A lot of people dislike him already. Here is why he is a BAD coach.

First of all, he refuses to play Julius Randle and Ed Davis more. Rookies learn by PLAYING. Not by watching people like Carlos Boozer. Secondly, after one of their biggest most embarrasing losses, he decided to throw Julius Randle under the buys, saying that the rookie needs to play harder and last longer. He managed to piss off all of Lakernation after day 1. Well done. Thirdly, he doesn't run an offense. As much as Lakernation hates to admit it, Mike D'Antoni was a better coach. His offense consists of strictly 15 footers and Pick and Roll. The Lakes have played four games so far and have attempted below ten 3s so far. That is.... laughable. In a bad way. Not only that, but the lack of defense on the floor is unacceptable. Ronnie Price throwing his shoe was the best defensive play so far. Finally, he is not displaying good leadership. Instead of being encouraging to his players, he is knocking them in post game press conferences. It makes me sad. This guy talks about how important it is to wear the Purple and Gold, yet proves he is poison to it. I really hope for the Purple and Gold's sake that something changes around here soon. Especially with Kobe meeting his final NBA years. This is NOT how I want to see Kobe go out.
