2014 NBA FA Class: Best players at each position.

The NBA 2014 FA Class can be super big if all the guys with ETOs opt out but the majority of them won't and the other big names are either old or injured. Leaving out Melo and guys most likely to get a max extension from the 2010 draft, here are all the possible and best players the Lakers can go after and have a reasonable shot at landing along with what I think they'll command in FA next summer and their age.

PGs:

Kyle Lowry: 28 10-12 mil a year

Avery Bradley: 23 6-8 mil a year

Eric Bledsoe: 24 8-10 mil a year

Jerryd Bayless: 25 5-7 mil a year

Greivis Vasquez: 27 5-6 mil a year

Isaiah Thomas: 25 3-5 mil a year

Brandon Jennings: 24 8-10 mil a year

Ramon Sessions: 28 5-7 mil a year

SGs:

Lance Stephenson: 24 4-6 mil a year

Thabo Sefolosha: 30 4-6 mil a year

Jordan Crawford: 25 4-6 mil a year

SFs:

Paul Pierce: 36 6-8 mil a year or MLE on a contender

Luol Deng: 29 9-12 mil a year

Brandon Rush: 29 3-5 mil a year

Gordon Hayward: 24 5-7 mil a year

Danny Granger: 31 7-10 mil a year

Marvin Williams: 28 2-4 mil a year or vets min on a contender

Trevor Ariza: 29 3-5 mil a year or vets min on a contender

PFs:

Dirk Nowitzki: 36 7-10 mil a year

Greg Monroe: 24 11-14 mil a year, may get the max because Dumars is really bad with contracts

Patrick Patterson: 25 4-6 mil a year

Derrick Favors: 23 8-12 mil a year

Ed Davis: 25 6-8 mil a year

Larry Sanders: 25 8-10 mil a year

Cs:

Ekpe Udoh: 27 4-6 mil a year

Andrew Bogut: 29 10-12 mil a year

DeMarcus Cousins: 23 12-15/16 (max) a year

Marcin Gortat: 30 8-10 mil a year

Emeka Okafor: 31 6-8 mil a year.

The only Lakers contracts on the books will be Nash's, Young's (if he opts in), Sacre and Harris. These 4 players contracts add up to 12.66 million dollars, leaving 47.34 left to work with. They can only get this cap space by renouncing the rights to all their FAs or resigning them for less before they look for FAs. Kobe and Pau will have capholds of 31 million and 20 million dollars give or take a mil. If the Lakers renounce their rights they can't resign them if they're over the cap unless it's for the mMLE or the vet's min.

Would love to hear your thoughts about who you would have the Lakers go after and why.
