Steve Blake suffered from a right hamstring strain during the Los Angeles Lakers loss to the San Antonio Spurs during L.A.'s loss to the Spurs Wednesday evening and is now out indefinitely, reports ESPN's Marc Stein. Making matters worse, Steve Nash is considered "doubtful" after re-aggravating his hip and hamstring issues Wednesday and having two more epidural injections, along with a cortisone shot, reports Mark Medina of the L.A. Daily News.
Oh, and Jodie Meeks is also "doubtful" after missing the Lakers' game on Wednesday with a left ankle sprain. Meeks is scheduled to undergo an MRI Thursday afternoon, reports Medina.
And you thought things couldn't get worse for the Lakers.
With Blake out, and Nash and Meeks doubtful, the Lakers' starting back court could be Darius Morris and Andrew Goudelock through the rest of the playoffs. Against all odds is quickly becoming against every odd as the Lakers are back in Los Angeles for Game 3 on Friday down two games to San Antonio.
