A source close to the Lakers believes that the chances Kobe playing after spraining his ankle are "not looking good" for the next two games.
A "source" close to the Los Angeles Lakers claims that it's "not good" in regards to Kobe Bryant playing in the next two games after severely spraining his ankle when the Lakers visited the Atlanta Hawks Wednesday night, reports Ramona Shelburne of ESPN Los Angeles.
Bryant was undercut by Dahntay Jones as he tried to push the game into overtime during the Lakers' loss to the Hawks. Kobe since has said that it's his worst injury since the 2000 NBA Finals when he suffered a similar injury when Jalen Rose undercut him, to which he later claimed he did with intent.
The Lakers play the Sacramento Kings on Sunday, followed by the Phoenix Suns on Monday in a back-to-back after Friday's game in Indiana. With Kobe likely out, the Lakers could still be looking at an addition to the roster with Pau Gaso ruling out only Friday's game against the Pacers.
