The Los Angeles Lakers continue their wait on the Raja Bell buyout situation with the Utah Jazz, as the two disputing sides will continue discussions until Friday's 11:59 p.m. EST deadline, per Marc Stein of ESPN.

Los Angeles has been linked to Bell for months but did not trade for him at the trade deadline on February 21st. The next step for Los Angeles is to wait and see if Bell and the Jazz reach a buyout agreement, or if they will hang onto Bell's contract. Initially Jazz general Dennis Lindsey had "no comment" on the situation, but later it was reported that the Jazz front office may opt to keep Bell through the season in order to keep him away from the Lakers.

Stein added another fold into The RajaSaGa, as it shall be called henceforth, by stating that Los Angeles is becoming an unlikely destination should the two sides reach an agreement.
