I love this site for its thoughtful, quirky, funny, and dedicated fan base. Soaking up the rumors and being an armchair GM is a blast, but what if SS&R can do more? We are, after all, a solid community. Specifically, an internet community in an internet age. We want Jordan Hill to choose the Lakers over Minnesota or anyone else, so what if we reach out as a community and let him know?

My proposal is to pick a time and date to get onto Twitter and do a simultaneous mass-Tweet. A few messages from fans here and there won't get noticed as much as 100+ tweets all at say, 3 P.M., with the same hashtag. We could add a tag like #ssr with our message to Jordan, asking him to stay.

What do you think? I'll add a poll, and if people seem interested, we can decide on a date, time, and hashtag to make our move. This doesn't need to be limited to Jordan Hill either. For example, if we don't bring back Matt Barnes, we could do the same thing, sending him a thank you message.
