Many scenarios have us trading for Kyle Lowry, Luis Scola, and possibly even more players for Pau Gasol and possibly Steve Blake. Instead of getting Scola though, what about receiving some draft picks instead. Of course, it is essential to attain Lowry but could we squeeze the Rockets for one or possibly both of their first round picks? Something that I would love to see is us acquiring Lowry and drafting one of these guys: Perry Jones or Quincy Miller (this would bring youth and athleticism to the SF/PF position) but my personal favorite is trying to acquire Austin Rivers or Jeremy Lamb. Both of these guys can be mentored from Kobe and become lethal once he is sadly gone and immediately become great 6th man material. I would like this a lot. Thoughts??? Just something fun to think about.
