Following today's win against the Thunder, I am so happy Andrew Bynum was NOT apart of it. The reason why is hopefully this instilled in his young mind that we do not need him, and that he needs us! I know Jordan Hill is not anywhere near in the same league as Andrew but atleast it is good to know he can be a super sub. I truly think Jordan can come off the bench and average 12 and 8 easily. With that said, if he is given more time (like today) he could have a game like he had against the Thunder. The biggest luxury of this, for the Lakers atleast, is if Andrew goes on a little temper tantrum like he has in multiple recent times Coach Brown can just say, "okay throw a fit all you want but you're gonna be doing it sitting right next to me". I know the great Phil said to relax and let Andrew grow up but this may speed the process up a bit...atleast hopefully.
I also like the luxury of being able to plug both small forwards in at the same time to give Kobe a long break (Although this might not happen for a while due to Metta's probable future suspension). My last thought is that I really think Devin Ebanks might be our answer against Durant if we face them in the playoffs. From what seemed to be a very thin team (talent wise) we are peaking and looking strong at the right time. To finally reflect on my title I AM SO HAPPY, are you?
