(see description)You might remember me from last year as the creepy commenter who made headlines on Silver Screen And Roll with the publishing of the Ultimate Rant. Lacking stats and respect, the Ultimate Rant featured nothing of merit to please the fans and was ultimately dismissed as sheer nonsense designed to bring the Lakers down even further after having failed to beat the Boston Celtics last year.
Get ready for another round of verbal bashing and statistics brutality, because the Ultimate Rant is coming back. I have TWO Rants: one for the Los Angeles Lakers (it will be their second) and another for the Los Angeles Clippers (their first).
The way these rants are written, I only go by the games, the performance of the players, their current record, and whatever story lines that could be used. Hardly any statistical figures are used in these rants, unless the numbers are truly necessary. I go by Charles Barkley's proverb "Stats don't mean a thing," hence the lack of percentages and tallies. The rants will be posted on here and on Clips Nation, but it has come to my attention that I may be banned from there. One of the users over there is petitioning a permanent ban because of the way I write my comments. Many assume I'm a troll, only out to destroy the integrity of the blog and calling me a closet Laker fan. But I've witnessed both performances of the Lakers and Clippers the entire season, and I have to say, they've worked their asses off to come to this position. We might be seeing a L.A.-only battle in the western conference finals for the first time in NBA History. If I get banned at Clips Nation, I will be unable to post my article, and the Ultimate Rant will fail. If you can help convince the mods and admins at Clips Nation that I am not a troll, just a guy who really loves L.A. more than ever, I would gladly appreciate it. I really want them to read my Ultimate Rant, and be given the chance to refute/rebuttal my article, like how you guys did with me last year.
The Ultimate Rant will be posted on the end of the week. Hope to see you then.
