(SB Nation, Scott Schroeder) Andrew Bynum suffered an injury on Sunday night when the Los Angeles Lakers and Golden State Warriors met up and, while it forced the center to miss the rest of the game, it seems the injury wasn't as severe as originally feared.

His status will be clarified following further tests on Monday, but as of now, Bynum is expected to be available for the next Lakers game. The Lakers classified the injury as "moderate" during the game, but Bynum alluded to Lakers.com that it wasn't as bad as it looked.

We caught up with Bynum on his way out of the arena, and he said that while sore, his ankle was "fine," and that he would "definitely" play on Tuesday. Officially, we will have to see how he feels on Monday and at shootaround prior to the Nets matchup, but his positive feeling is certainly good news for the Lakers.

The rest of the Lakers crew seemed to think Bynum was OK, too, according to their comments in the Los Angeles Times:

"I don't think it's going to be long-term," Lakers Coach Mike Brown said. "Obviously, I want to wait and see before I start thinking about hypotheticals."

Brown added that he thought Bynum was "able to walk out fine."

"I think he was feeling OK and he said it's no big deal," Pau Gasol said. "I think he'll be fine."

"Fine" seems to be the operative word regarding the Bynum injury, at least for the time being, but it'll be interesting to see how fine he is following more tests on Monday.
