Hey there everybody,
Those of us that are die-hard fans of basketball, not just the Lakers (which I assume the vast majority of the non-troll population here is) have witnessed something pretty shocking in the last week. The city of Sacramento, with its back against the wall, came up with an agreement over the All-Star break, for a new arena that was a sweetheart deal for the Kings' current owners, as well as a good deal for the league and city. All parties agreed to it, complete with press conferences and center-court, hand-holding photo-ops that go with such agreements. However, in the past few days, the owners of the team (I'm not even going to mention the names of these scumbags since they don't deserve it) have backed out of the deal in the most shocking and disgusting way possible, in a way that pretty much napalms the future of basketball in Sacramento in hopes that they can move to Anaheim in a few year (If you want the real details of the matter, and not just this brief description, head over to Sactown Royalty for all the information you could possibly want).
Please join me in saying this is wrong.
The people of Sacramento have done everything asked of them, and their sleazy owners are still trying to screw them over. We as Laker fans know how much fun it is when the Kings are relevant, and how good the fans of Sacramento are. Basketball should remain in Sacramento and out of Anaheim. Please join me in boycotting anything Maloof-associated until they sell the Kings, and please drop by Sactown Royalty and leave a few kind words to show Kings fans that them, and that we support basketball in Sacramento.

If you post there, please represent Lakers Nation well. Lord knows those of us that are real fans catch enough grief already. Leave the Kings fans a nice word.
